It's impossible to miss the lettering UNITED CRUSHERS outside my office window. Did Spider Man paint this on these grain silos? It is rumored all the remaining grain elevators will come down (be raised) for a new U of M Research center. Too bad a segment of history (and some jobs) will no longer exist.
Curious about the origins of the "UNITED CRUSHERS" lettering. I see the display twice a day (I park very near the grain elevators and walk to work), so I would love to know if the words mean anything in particular?
